Chapter 9

On Monday Jo insisted that he wear the new cage to work.

“Do I have to?” As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Jeremy realized he sounded like he was whining like a petulant child.

“Yes. I bought this for you. It wasn’t cheap. You look handsome in it.”

“No one sees me in it.”

“I do. Don’t disobey now.”

Jeremy hesitated. He had worn the other cage to work regularly for a couple of weeks. If he protested now, Jo would know something was amiss.

He stood in front of her, his pants around his ankles, while she slipped the cage into place and locked away his cock.

“Is it wrong I think this is the hottest thing we’ve ever done?” she asked him.

“No. But maybe us fucking other people is. Just my opinion.”

At work, Jeremy had a problem. He had an important meeting in the afternoon.

The sale was assured. It was what he had to do with the buyer that was the problem.

He met the buyer’s rep at the hotel bar where they always met, claiming an off-site meeting was more conducive. It was, but not for business purposes.

Jeremy arrived first, ordered a drink (against company rules, but that was a minor consideration now), and waited. Melissa slipped into the chair across from him, a drink in her hand, a smile on her face, and the top button to her blouse carelessly yet strategically unbuttoned.

“Usually I’m the one who arrives first,” she commented and sipped her drink. As always, it was a cosmo. Melissa was a bit of a cliche. Then again, he was drinking his usual bourbon on the rocks.

“I didn’t have much going on today.”

“Want to go directly to our room?”

“Uh…no.” He didn’t get that excited feeling in the pit of his stomach like he normally did when Melissa proposed anything sexual to him. “We need to talk.”

His occasional lover frowned. “Did your wife find out about me?” She wasn’t particularly worried. The loss of a lover was an event she had gone through before. She didn’t have any designs on Jeremy. This was just for fun. And the occasional sale of high-end computer components and devices.

“No.”

“So what’s the matter?”

Jeremy looked around the small bar area in the lobby of the hotel. “Let’s go upstairs and discuss it.”

Melissa shrugged. “Sure.”

After the elevator ride, as they were walking down the hallway to the room that Jeremy had booked, he said, “I don’t think we’re going to have sex today.”

Melissa frowned. “Then why am I here?”

“Because I wanted to explain in person.” He let them into their room. They were both still carrying their drinks. They both had to be a little inebriated to carry on their affair. Jeremy because he worried about being caught; Melissa to lower her inhibitions just enough to do things with him that she wouldn’t do with her husband.

“Explain what?” she asked, turning on him after finishing her drink. “If you don’t want to fuck me any longer, just say so.”

Instead of answering her, Jeremy grabbed Melissa and kissed her with the intensity of a teenaged boy discovering his first girlfriend.
